‘Bobbi Blue – A Story of Love and Trust’ is the first book to be written by new Christian author, Heather Lamont from Ballymena.
This delightful children’s story is based on the journey of Heather’s own pony, Bobbi Blue, from fear to peace.
She says: “I fell in love with this pony who was very fearful and bought him. Riding Bobbi Blue every day, the Lord spoke to me clearly. I jotted down what the Lord was saying and have lots of little stories. In the present day where fear is prevalent, I decided to compile the stories which journaled the pony’s journey as love overcame his fears as he grew in trust and obedience. It is a pony parable really. I have lots of other stories, especially about Bobbi being naughty but they are for another day! Bobbi Blue has many fans on Facebook and has his own page called Bobbi Blue. I’m trusting the book will be an evangelical tool to help children and adults alike in their quest to find love.”
Described as a testimony to the fact that God’s love really does cast out fear. Heather also hopes that her writing will help children address their fears at this difficult time and overcome them.
