A vision4kids Evening of Praise will be held in Ballymena Academy on 2nd April 2016 starting at 7.30pm.
vision4kids is a Christian centred children’s charity based in Northern Ireland with a vision of helping children and young people worldwide wherever there is a need to improve their quality of life. As well as fundraising to help and support the young people’s education, health & welfare (poverty relief) they also aim to promote the Gospel and see lives transformed spiritually as well as materially.
A team is planning to go from Northern Ireland to Kenya in August 2016 to encourage missionary Samson Kangethe who works there and also to spend time with the local children. So they can help fund the work going on in Kenya, vision4kids are holding this praise evening in Ballymena Academy. It promises to be a great night of Christian music with the group Pathway taking part along with Nicole Backus, David Warwick and Joy Logan. The money raised will be put to great use and already the team have been planning the projects they are going to do while they’re there – these include helping with building work at a new school, holding a football tournament, visiting poor families with food and clothing packs, hold Holiday Bible Clubs and in general spend quality time with the children there.
