Paul, Lorraine, Cameron and Caleb McCaw are enjoying Easter 2025 at the Belfast City Mission’s Jersey Street Outreach Hub.
In their latest Prayer Letter, the family write:
We have lots to be thankful for this Easter time! We firstly thank God for a reason to celebrate Easter. For sending His Son, Jesus, to die on the cross for our sins, so we can have an eternal home with Him in Heaven. Secondly, we thank and praise God for His guidance to Jersey Street Outreach Hub and for saving souls!
Over the past 7 weeks, we have ran a Christianity Explored course for 4 ladies, (3 unsaved) and on completing it, 2 have put their trust in the Lord. We praise God for this and pray they will know God’s perfect peace and continue to walk with Him.
As a result of these ladies being committed to hearing more of the gospel, we are beginning a Sunday evening service, starting on Easter Sunday at 6.00pm. We would ask you to pray that this will be a blessing for these ladies and that more might come and hear from God’s word.
Other activities in the hub are drawing to a close for this season, and we have different end of year events planned.
JERSEY JUNIORS – End of year Party – Wednesday 16th April 2025
TOTS @ THE HUB TRIP – The Playground, Green Pastures Church – Tuesday 20th May 2025
We also have other ideas and plans underway for summer, with Union Road Presbyterian Church running a Holiday Bible Club for us and a family day out on the cards!
Please pray for these different events, that we would clearly know God’s will in them all!
On a more personal note, our son Cameron got engaged in January and has wedding plans underway for June 2026. He is in his 3rd year at Stranmillis University, with 1 more year to go. Caleb is in Year 12 now, so has GCSE exams beginning in May. Please pray for our boys, that they would know God leading and guiding them in their young lives. Thank you all for your continued prayers and support to us, as a family. We really appreciate it.
