You are very welcome to come along and support the Crocus Special Needs Association Table Quiz at Galgorm Community Centre on Friday 22nd February 2019. The quiz will run from 7.30pm-10pm.

Crocus Chairperson, John Chaney, is excited to be hosting this event:
He told us “It was originally due to happen in November of last year and we were disappointed when bad weather forced us to postpone it.”
“However, we are glad to have a new date and we hope that everyone will be able to join us for fun, refreshments and prizes – the entry cost is only £5 per person with a maximum of six people at each table.”

What is Crocus Special Needs Association?

Crocus Special Needs Association is a Christian based voluntary organisation which values and supports people with disabilities, as well as their families and carers, by demonstrating through word and deed God’s great love, compassion and care for everyone.
It was founded in September 2003 by the late Anne Arnold from Ahoghill, Ballymena in County Antrim, to address the lack of facilities and services for young people with disabilities and their families and carers.

The name ‘crocus’ was derived from the scriptural verse Isaiah 35 v 1 which says “…the wilderness will rejoice and blossom, like the crocus, it will burst into bloom”. This verse is about hope and Anne felt that this was what the Association is to be about – giving hope to people of all ages who have a disability, their family and carers.

Why not go along for a night of fun at the Crocus Special Needs Association Table Quiz – Galgorm Community Centre – Friday 22nd February 2019 – from 7.30pm.
