Markethill Christian Fellowship | An Evening With Stuart Elliott

Markethill Christian Fellowship in Co. Armagh will host ‘An Evening With Stuart Elliott’ on Thursday 6th September 2018 from 7.30pm.

Stuart Elliott is a Northern Irish former professional footballer who played as a midfielder from 1998 to 2013. He made a name for himself whilst with Motherwell and Hull City. Stuart was also capped 38 times by Northern Ireland.

At the age of 17, Stuart went along to the Whitewell Metropolitan Tabernacle in Belfast and heard the preaching of Pastor James McConnell. He says now, “God started dealing with me that night”. Ever since, God has been a major part of Stuart Elliott’s life (“and He’s never let me down”).

Although he is primarily known as a footballer, Stuart defines himself, above all else, as a Christian.
“My faith as a born–again Christian means so much to me. Not a lot of people understand that these days, but that’s the way it is for me.”
