Raffrey Presbyterian Church Celebrates 175 Years Of Witness

Raffrey Presbyterian Church celebrates 175 years of witness this year.

Raffrey Presbyterian, which is between Killyleagh and Saintfield, Co Down, celebrates 175 years of God’s faithful provision and blessing.
Everyone in the congregation, which comprises 200 families, is delighted to be marking this memorable milestone. They are looking forward to a very special 2018!

Minister of the congregation, Brian Small told The Church Page;
“We are thankful for the many ways that God has blessed our congregation with faithful Bible teachers who have all been passionate in sharing the Gospel message.
Our congregation still meets for worship in the original meeting house. Some aesthetic adjustments have been made to the Meeting House, Hall and Manse but the message of this congregation remains the same, “Christ died for us” (Rom 5:8)”.

Brian added:

This year, to celebrate, we have planned numerous events for all ages. Starting with our Launch Service this Sunday, 7th January 2018 at 11:30am. This will be followed by a special lunch. We would like to take this opportunity to invite everyone to come to share with us in fellowship.
Later in the year we hope to have special youth events, concerts and a Christmas Tree Festival to mark this anniversary in our church’s history.”
