12th Annual Spring Gospel Music Celebration

The 12th Annual Spring Gospel Music Celebration will take place at the Armagh City Hotel on Saturday 12th March 2018 from 7:00pm-10:30pm.
Organised by Harmony Records, this hugely popular concert will feature a stellar line-up of local and international talent.

The 12th Annual Spring Gospel Music Celebration will feature –

The Promised Land Quartet are from Edinburg Virginia, USA. This talented collective was formed in 2000. They now travel all over America, taking the Gospel to the lost and hurting. Over the years they have made numerous television appearances. They have also enjoyed chart success and appeared on some of Gospel Music’s biggest stages, including the National Quartet Convention. But it is reaching the lost for Jesus that is at the heart of the group’s ministry.

Revelation are now entering their 12th year of ministry. Revelation have been the regular host group of the Gospel Music Celebration since it began. Although the group has seen a lot of changes over the past 12 months, its ministry of seeking to win lost souls for Jesus Christ has carried on. While some faces may have changed, the message and vision remain the same.

Joy Boyd is no stranger to Armagh having performed their many times as a solo artist and with the group, Justified. Now on her own, she has an extremely busy schedule of ministering at services and ladies’ meetings all over the country.

New Dawn Trio. Over the last 16 years, two words have summed up New Dawn Trio – faithful and consistent. Having toured all over the UK and Ireland they have remained steadfast to the Gospel message in every song they sing. The group is made up of founder member, Joe Finlay, James Strange and newest member, David Bishop – a very accomplished saxophone player. Not only have they a wonderfully smooth vocal blend but they deliver each song with a passion and conviction that will both bless and challenge the listener.

The Morrisons were formed in 2016. This family group consists of David Morrison, his wife, Sharon and David’s brother, Ronnie and their friend, Robert Wilkin. The Morrisons have a great love for all types of gospel music, close harmonies and most of all, their desire is serve the Lord with their God-given talents. In June 2017 they released their debut album which has been a huge success in spreading the Gospel. The organisers of the Gospel Celebration are delighted to welcome them to Armagh.

Zara-Jayne Strange. The line-up would not be complete without Zara who has been appearing in Armagh for the last few years. As her voice develops and matures this talented young singer’s diary becomes ever fuller. It is a blessing to see young people taking up the mantle & serving God through the medium of Gospel Music.

Each year, the Gospel Music Celebration gets bigger and bigger with nearly 1,200 people attending from across the UK and Ireland. The weekend concludes with a special service where the artists lead a time of worship and praise.
