Post-Election Prayer Meeting in Montgomerys Ballymena

A post-election prayer meeting in Montgomerys Restaurant, Ballymena will take place on Friday 24th March 2017. This event is following on from the pre-election prayer meeting held at the same venue. It has been organised by Ballymena Clergy Fraternal supported by Ballymena Church Members Forum. Montgomerys Restaurant is on Ballymoney Street, Ballymena, and the prayer meeting will be held from 7:00pm until 9:00pm.

This meeting is scheduled to take place as the three-week period of talks at Stormont comes to an end. This is therefore, a very critical period in the process of trying to form a government in Northern Ireland.
Wilbert Morton, who is chairperson of the Forum said, “As Christians the best thing we can do is to pray for everyone involved. It is in response to the scriptural instruction to pray for those set in authority over us. If you believe in the power of prayer in the name of Jesus then join with us. Young or old, irrespective of denominational preference, let’s be a united voice.
As was the case at the pre-election Prayer Meeting, people can come when they have time and leave when they must.”

You are being encouraged to come along to this post-election Prayer Meeting in Montgomerys Ballymena. Join with other Christians from around the town to pray for the current situation in Northern Ireland.

Wilbert added, “Please encourage as many as possible in your circle of friends to come along. It would be great if those of you who are ministers or leaders of congregations could encourage your people to be present.”
