LESS ONE Ladies Group November Meeting

The LESS ONE ladies group November meeting is on Tuesday 1st November at 10.30am. This ladies fellowship group has been set up specifically for widowed ladies or women from broken marriages.
As always, the venue will be 3 Sixteen Café, which is located on Portglenone’s Upper Main Street and owned by the village’s First Presbyterian Church.

This month’s speaker will be Linda Hoy.  Linda and her husband Davy have a ministry in Armoy helping people who face addiction problems.
For anyone who doesn’t know, LESS ONE is an acronym for Ladies Ever Standing Strong on the One. It is led by Angela Whyte, who lost her husband, John suddenly in 2013. She received a direct promise from God afterwards based on Jeremiah 29 v 11. “For I know the plans I have for you’, declares the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you and now to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

Angela says: “We had a very blessed series of meetings before the summer. Many friendships were made and renewed as we enjoyed great times of fellowship over our new famous four C’s, Cake, Chat, Chorus and Coffee.”

LESS ONE Ladies Group November Meeting is on Tuesday 1st November from 10:30AM. The venue, as always, is 3 Sixteen Café, Main Street, Portglenone.

She adds: “We thank the Kirk Session for First Portglenone Presbyterian Church for use of 3 Sixteen Café as a venue for our gatherings. We are also grateful to Mrs. Shirley Lowry, who turns the key before and after each meeting and makes the sure that the café is warm and comfortable for us.” You can find out more about 3 Sixteen Café, Portglenone here.
