The organisers of this event are urging churches, fellowships and groups to sign up for Global Outreach Day 2017. This year it will take place on Saturday 27th May.
Stuart Bothwell, one of the guys managing the campaign, told The Church Page.
“We are incredibly excited about the possibilities as thousands of us from across Ireland share our story with one person on Global Outreach Day.
Our heart is to equip the saints for the work of ongoing ministry through this day, as they see that they are equipped and empowered to be storytellers in their everyday lives”.
“We have just celebrated the good news of Christ’s sacrifice and resurrection this Easter. This presents a great opportunity for us as leaders to encourage our churches to share that wonderful story with those closest to them. That is what Global Outreach Day is all about. As we have just celebrated Christ’s story, you may want to avail of this opportunity to see your church engage in evangelism on May 27th.”

“Visit our website to register your Church or group. By signing up, we’ll be able to stay in touch with you ahead of May 27th. On our website, you can also download videos and resources that you can use in Church gatherings and online.

EQUIP
There is support to make the most of this amazing opportunity.
“We have created a series of resources to help train people as we approach Global Outreach Day. Through four short films and a training workbook, people will be able to discover the heart of the God story, see again that their story has value and be inspired to step beyond fear and share their story with someone.
Our EQUIP training resources are completely free. (available on our website) They can be used in Sunday gatherings, small groups, youth groups or among families and friends.
