Ordained Local Ministers ordained at Lisburn Cathedral

The ordination of the first three people to serve as Ordained Local Ministers in Connor Diocese took place at Lisburn Cathedral on Sunday 22nd September, 2019.

Adrian Bell, Louise Bowes and Anne Locke were ordained by The Rt Rev Patrick Rooke, Bishop of Tuam, Killala and Achonry, as the Bishop of Connor, the Rt Rev Alan Abernethy, is currently on sick leave.

The first Ordained Local Ministers in Connor Diocese

  • Adrian Bell was ordained for the Parishes of St Andrew, Glencairn and Whiterock, Belfast,
  • Louise Bowes for Mossley Parish
  • Anne Locke for Whitehouse and St Ninian, Belfast.

The preacher at the service was the Rev Canon Kevin Graham, Diocesan Director of Ordinands.
