The LESS ONE Friendship Group resumes for 2017. The Portglenone based group is for widowed ladies, those from broken marriages or who are living alone. It will begin the 2017/18 programme on Tuesday, 3rd October 2017 and will meet on the first Tuesday of each month thereafter until June. Each meeting starts at 10:30am.
As usual, the venue will be 3 Sixteen Cafe on Main Street, Portglenone.
Use of these premises has been kindly granted by the Minister and Kirk Session of First Portglenone Presbyterian Church.
Thanks are also extended to the caretaker, Mrs Shirley Lowry who faithfully prepares the premises each month.
Group leader Angela Whyte is looking forward to the new session as LESS ONE Friendship Group resumes for 2017.
Angela and her team of ladies would love to see you, whether you are a LESS ONE regular or a newcomer.
Looking forward to the first gathering on 3rd October, Angela said:
“We start our year off with some new ideas for our winter wardrobe. We all love that new sweater or jacket offering. Our speaker will be Mrs Deirdre Chestnutt from Unique Personal Stylist. Deirdre has a great flare for clothes and a unique testimony.
She will use some of her garments from Mary Jane Fashions in Lower Main Street, Portglenone. Do come and enjoy our five Cs – Chat, Chorus, Cake, Coffee and Craic.”
