Grab Your First Coffee On Monday Mornings!
Grab your First Coffee on Monday mornings at First Ballymena! The weekly community outreach programme, First Coffee, operated by members of First Ballymena Presbyterian Church, will resume on Monday morning 5th September 2016, running from 10.00am-12.00noon, following its summer break.
Are you one of those people who dreads Monday morning? You trudge back to work on Monday morning following the school-run performed twice because your little cherub forgot their schoolbag!
Maybe you face the weekly grocery shop, a day of hoovering or a utility room full of unwashed laundry?
If so, why don’t you nip down to Meetinghouse Lane for half an hour and grab a coffee, tea, a scone or a tray-bake?
There is no set charge – just a plate for voluntary donations.
Event organiser, Hilary McCluggage told The Church Page: “It’s a great way to get to know other Church members, especially the older ones. We have three entrances into our building and you don’t always get to meet everyone on a Sunday.”
“We also have several regulars from other Churches who all enjoy the friendship and the craic”, smiles Hilary.
Monday 3rd October 2016 will be a particularly special morning as all donations received will be given to Macmillan Cancer Care – there may even be a slice of two of cake!
Grab your First Coffee on Monday mornings at First Ballymena Presbyterian. From 5th September between 10.00am and 12 noon and every Monday morning after that you are invited to join them for coffee, a scone and a chat.
