Formerly of Simple Faith, Jonathan Cairns new solo CD launch will be at Glenmachan Church of God on Friday, 30th September 2016 starting at 7.30pm.
The album, which is entitled ‘Great Are You Lord’ will be unveiled in the company of guest vocalist, Ruth St. John, who also plans to perform on this very special night. Jonathan enjoyed many happy and successful years with Simple Faith. His brother, Paul, still performs as part of the quartet, but this is Jonathan’s first solo project.
Jonathan Cairns new Solo CD launch at Glenmachan Church of God, Glenmachan Rd, Belfast BT4 2NL is on Friday 30th September at 7.30pm.
He is delighted to be headlining this FREE concert, although a voluntary offering will be taken in support of a genuinely life-changing cause. S.A.L.T. (Serving All Labouring Together) is an outreach operated by Glenmachan Church of God, which exists to provide food to people in need via a Food Bank.
A spokesperson for the Church said: “This is becoming a very busy ministry – we work closely with Social Services and Woman’s Aid continually getting referrals from them.”
As well as food we will issue vouchers for emergency supply of gas and electricity. Emergency packs for women and children are also made up as part of this project and then given to Women’s Aid.
“These parcels include pyjamas, toiletries, a face-cloth and socks in addition to a kid’s pack, which features a colouring book and colouring pencils.”
