‘Biblical Social Justice, Irish Nationalism and the Churches Response’ is the title of a new course that will run at Timeless Theological Academy. Starting on Monday 9th November 2026 at 7pm, the six-week overview will be delivered by Ian McCammon, a former missionary and Bible teacher.
You will find the Timeless Theological Academy at 42-43 Larne Street, Ballymena.
Looking forward to getting the course started, Ian said: “As you will see from the title, I will be approaching teaching the course with a wee bit of “fear and trembling”. I am no expert and I have very little experience in teaching this course. However I feel the Lord has laid on my heart (as a sinner saved grace), to explore these 3 challenging issues/areas together, in more depth, especially as I have been asked to do this a few times in the past.”
This is the first course of the new academic year at TTA and the college’s Communications Officer, Joe Boyd, is keen to welcome as many students as possible to these sessions. He said: “Even the title of this course fills me with huge excitement and expectation. This is surely one of the most intriguing culturally relevant subjects to be taught at TTA to date. The classes are certain to provide much opportunity for learning and friendly discussion between those who will participate each week. I for one cannot wait to get started!”
The cost of the course is just £25 per person for six weeks of teaching with FREE tea, coffee and biscuits each night.
