‘Altars – Worship & Justice’ is an event featuring renowned worship leader, Maria Gilpin, which will take place across the four Irish provinces on the following dates and venues:
Ulster –
Drumcree Parish Church, Belfast BT6 1EP on Saturday 19th September 2026 at 7pm
Leinster –
St George & St. Thomas Parish Church, Open Circle, Dublin D01 E654 on Saturday 3rd October 2026 at 7.30pm
Connaught –
Discovery Church, Park Tuam Road H91 DHEO, Galway on Saturday 28th November 2026 at 7.30pm.
Munster –

A spokesperson for the organisers told us: “Compassion, in collaboration with Maria Gilpin, are hosting four worship evenings across the four provinces of the island of Ireland.
Join us in person for ALTARS, a unique gathering focused on worship and justice.
Compassion is collaborating with worship leader Maria Gilpin to host ALTARS: Worship & Justice, a new series of worship evenings across the island of Ireland. These nights are a time to gather and worship God in spirit and in truth making space for him to stir our hearts.
As we worship, we’ll reflect on God’s heart for justice and how he invites us to respond with compassion and hope.
ALTARS: Worship & Justice nights are taking place across all four provinces of the island and will be a wonderful opportunity to bring friends and experience Gods presence as we worship.
Together, we’ll see how God calls us to be part of something bigger than ourselves: his work of bringing life and restoration, here in Ireland and across the world.
We’re delighted to be starting in Ulster, then onto Leinster and Connacht with dates for Munster coming soon.
