Care for the Family are hosting a Widowed Young Support Day on Saturday 23rd May 2026 at Dundonald Elim Pentecostal Church from 9.30am-4.30pm.
This special day is designed to connect with others who understand firsthand the pain of losing a partner while still young. Just being able to share with or simply listen to others in a safe and supportive environment is an ideal opportunity to discover some fresh perspectives and glimpses of hope.
The day is composed of main sessions, followed by small group time, looking at the following topics:
* Emotions and reactions to loss
* Our personal grief story
* Rebuilding life
* Hope for the Future
Tea, coffee, refreshments and lunch are provided.
