‘We Must Cover Our Young’ is the title of a special Community Prayer Gathering to lift up the young people before the Lord at Cullybackey Elim Church on Thursday 30th April 2026, starting at 8pm.
Explaining why this is such an important event a spokesperson for Cullybackey Elim told us:
“Many young people in our homes and wider community are facing deep challenges—struggling with self-worth, rejection, isolation, and the weight of difficult life experiences. For some, this has led to self-harm, substance misuse, or thoughts of suicide.
Many families, including those within our churches, are carrying these burdens and feeling the strain.
As a community, we want to come together to pray for healing, hope, freedom, protection, and restoration. We believe that prayer and a move of God can bring breakthrough, and we want to stand in the gap for a generation that needs support, compassion, and love.
At our prayer gathering on Thursday 30th April 2026 at 8pm, we invite you to join us and to invite parents, teachers, youth workers, members of other churches, and anyone with a heart for young people as we seek God together. Please feel free to share this invitation and encourage others across our community to come and pray.”
