Students and lecturers at the Timeless Theological Academy, 42-43 Larne Street, Ballymena are very excited to be embarking on a six-week course on Pneumatology, that is the person and work of the Holy Spirit as presented in Scripture.
For six consecutive Monday evenings from Monday 23rd February, those attending will consider several fundamental aspects of the third person of the triune Godhead. (Each session begins at 7.30pm)
Areas covered will include:
• What the Scriptures reach about the Holy Spirit being a divine person rather than an impersonal power.
• The work of the Holy Spirit during the time of Samuel and Judges.
• The importance of the Holy Spirit in the life and work of Jesus
• How the Holy Spirit led and guided the mission and decisions of First Century Church
• Why John is often described as ‘an apostle of the Holy Spirit.’
• The Role of the Holy Spirit in Prayer
Much-loved Ballykeel Pentecostal Pastor and Bible teacher, Dr Thomas Todd will deliver the course.
Encouraging as many people are possible to come along, Thomas told The Church Page:
“I am really excited about this upcoming course and what we will learn together. I particularly love to initiate group discussion about the subject matter, encouraging us all to consider what the Scriptures are actually saying and how we might apply it.”
The cost of the course is just £25 per person; that price includes six weeks of in-person teaching, free tea and coffee and the marking of assignments if you decide to take the assessment option.
