The annual First Light Christmas celebration will be held in First Ballymena Presbyterian Church on Saturday 6th December at 7.30pm. A choir of 70 voices and instrumentalists will perform a range of Christmas pieces interwoven with festive readings and audio visuals telling the story of the first Christmas.
Looking forward to a great night under the musical direction of Paul Brush, a spokesperson for the Meetinghouse Lane fellowship told The Church Page:
“Our annual First Light Celebration Service is back on Saturday 6th December 2025 at 7:30pm. Please come along and support a great cause and enjoy a great night’s Christmas music.
Step away from the mad whirl of festive preparation to rest and reflect in the magical surroundings of First Ballymena’s historic sanctuary, where songs, readings and film clips will take you on a journey back 2,000 years to the first Christmas.
Enjoy an uplifting repertoire of old favourites and new inspirations from around the world; and, of course, it’s an opportunity for you too to sing some of your favourite carols.
End your evening with delicious festive refreshments served in the church hall and a chance to chat with friends old and new”, they added.
All proceeds from the concert (after expenses) will go to Marie Curie. There are no tickets but donations will be received on the night.
