‘Digging Deeper in United Prayer for Ballymena & Beyond‘ is the title of the Awaken 24/7 Prayer Initiative that’s taking place at Christian fellowships throughout the area next week.
Organised by ‘Rebuilding the Walls’; prayer spaces will be open at various locations in the town following a Launch Event at First Ballymena Presbyterian Church on Sunday 31st August 2025, starting at 6.30pm
- Koinonia ‘Oasis of the Braid’, which is located at 89 Carnlough Road, Broughshane will host the first one from Sunday 31st August until Monday 1st September (8pm-7.59pm – 24-hour event.)
Subsequently gatherings will convene at the following locations and times throughout the week.
- Monday 1st-Tuesday 2nd September 2025 at The Bethel Temple, 95 Main Street, Portglenone. (8pm-7.59pm – 24-hour event.)
- Tuesday 2nd – Wednesday 3rd September 2025 at Mid-Antrim Vineyard, 1 Woodside Road Industrial Estate, Ballymena, BT42 4QJ. (8pm-7.59pm – 24-hour event.)
- Wednesday 3rd-Thursday 4th September 2025 @ Wellington Presbyterian Church, 28 Sourhill Road, Ballymena BT42 2NB. (8pm-7.59am – 12-hour event.)
- Thursday 4th September 2025 @ Ballymena Methodist Church, Ballymoney Road, Ballymena BT43 5BY. (8am-7.59pm – 12-hour event.)
- Thursday 4th-Friday 5th September 2025 @ Victory Praise Community Church, 22A Pennybridge Industrial Estate, Ballymena BT42 3HB. (8pm-7.59pm – 24-hour event.)
- Friday 5th-Saturday 6th September 2025 @ Church of God, 35 Fry’s Road, Ballymena BT43 7EN. (8pm-7.59am – 12-hour event.)

The week will conclude with a Thanksgiving Event on Sunday 7th September 2025 at High Kirk from 6.30pm-8pm.
