Precept Ireland seeks to appoint a Digital Intern from September 2025

Precept Ireland is seeking to appoint a Digital Intern from September 2025. This unique internship is intended to give a young person the opportunity to enhance their knowledge of the digital world while serving God as part of His church here in Ireland.

Since 1970, Precept Ireland has been training leaders, creating resources, and developing a Bible study method to help people grow in their relationship with God. Under the direction of Kay and Jack Arthur, Precept began as a Bible study ministry in Tennessee (USA), before Kay wrote the first Precept Upon Precept study on the book of Romans in 1975. The ministry began to grow, with new resources, a radio programme and even a television show in the eighties.

Kay Arthur spoke in Belfast in 2001, and Precept Northern Ireland was launched shortly afterwards. Soon it spread to the whole of Ireland, and since then, thousands of people have studied God’s Word using the Inductive Bible Study Method and Precept resources.

Dave Wilson, National Director for Precept Ireland, shared with The Church Page: “Precept Ireland is a ministry that equips and supports the local church. We’re here to help believers grow in their relationship with God through knowing His Word, so we focus on making God’s Word accessible to all people everywhere.”

Precept produces Bible study resources that emphasize individual discovery, group discussion, and life application. They train Bible study leaders to guide these discussion groups and disciple others so they may be transformed by the truth they learn.

Dave explained that, “Having a greater knowledge about the Bible is good, but that’s not the end goal. The goal of knowing God’s Word is to know God, and through the work of the Holy Spirit, brings about personal transformation in our lives. The role of the digital intern is to share this truth through the various aspects of digital marketing that they will learn about during the year.”

Are you or someone you know passionate about social media or digital marketing? Thinking about future ministry or working for a Christian organisation? If so, you could use your skills to help others engage with God’s Word across Ireland through Precept Ireland’s Digital Internship programme – a unique opportunity to grow in digital experience and serve God’s Church.

The deadline for applications is 12noon on Friday 29th August 2025, and you can find out more at https://preceptireland.org/digital-internship
