It’s the time of the year when we give thanks to God for the harvest. Harvest services will be very different this year, but we still praise God for our farmers and growers and for another successful harvest. The second verse also reminds us to pray for the spiritual harvest.
As long as the earth endures, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night, will never cease.
Genesis 8 v 22
The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.
