Bookfest was a ‘Timeless’ success

Timeless Publications Bookfest was a great success with well over 100 people joining the three Ballymena-based authors who were launching books at the event. This first Bookfest organised by Timeless was held at Wellington Presbyterian Church, Ballymena.

Three new titles were launched; Defiant Hope by Alistair Bates, One Swallow Makes A Summer by Shirley Ballantine and Trading Mindsets: God, Faith and Disability by Joe Boyd.

One of the books being launched at the Bookfest was Joe Boyd’s Trading Mindsets along with Defiant Hope by Alistair Bates and One Swallow Makes a Summer by Shirley Ballantine

Charities and organisations will benefit from Bookfest and donations from the sales of books.

Each writer chose to support a specific charity through the sales of their book. Alistair will donate to international Justice Mission, Joe to Castle Tower School, Ballymena while Shirley will help the Circle of Life Sponsorship programme and Advance Skills Training in Nigeria.

Open Doors, an organisation which works to support the persecuted Church also benefited from the proceeds of the Coffee Morning.

A Timeless spokesperson said: “We were really encouraged to see such a good turnout on a cold and windy day. We hope that people will enjoy the books and that those who benefit from the charities and organisations we supported will be blessed.”

All three titles are available to order now, priced £6.99 via the Timeless Publications website here and also on the Amazon website here.
