Volunteers Wanted in the Salvation Army Shop Ballymena

The Salvation Army Shop Ballymena are currently looking for volunteers to work in the shop. Do you enjoy working with people and have a few hours to spare?
If so, would you be interested in helping out in the day to day running of the charity shop based on Broughshane Street in town.

Make new friends and serve the community while volunteering in the Salvation Army Shop Ballymena.

Willing hands will be given the opportunity to undertake various jobs and tasks. You will be given the opportunity to develop skills and make new friends, while also serving the local Ballymena community.
Salvation Army Officers, Chris and Lucy Still, who run the Church’s Ballymena Corps told the Church Page.

“Our charity shop is perhaps the most visible aspect of the Army’s work in Ballymena.
For many years, it has been a focal point for the community, offering top quality goods at a fair price. In addition it is also a meeting point for the knitting circle, which has been run very successfully by our Manager, Doreen Armstrong.”
They added: “We are looking for friendly, motivated and reliable people to join her willing crew of volunteers. Perhaps you would like to work behind the counter or behind the scenes in the stock room. If you are keen, we will do our best to find a role for you.”

The shop is located at 22 Broughshane Street, Ballymena. It is open from Monday to Saturday between 10:00am-4:00pm so there is plenty of opportunity to find where you belong.
