Sonshine Sunday At Green Pastures

You’re invited to Sonshine Sunday at Green Pastures. The guys at the Galgorm based church are enjoying a brilliant week serving the community and they would love you to join them on this Sonshine Sunday, 10th July 2016.
Looking forward to Sonshine Sunday, GP’s Creative Director, Karen Kernohan said: “Our family service begins at 11.00am. Come along and relive all the highlights from Sonshine Week. All the kids will be taking part and Mark Ritchie from 73rd Trust is the speaker.”

The Family Fun Day will kick off immediately afterwards. Here, you can enjoy bouncy castles and kids rides, BBQ and bring your own picnic!

Talking about the evening event, Karen went on to say: “At 6.00pm we have Mark Ritchie bring his “family friendly comedy show” called “For the love of God” which has toured the UK, including the Edinburgh fringe festival, which is guaranteed to “make you laugh, cry and think about God.”
“Directly after the service we will be watching the Euro 2016 final together outside from a giant truck screen with a BBQ.”

Sonshine Sunday at Green Pastures Church will relive some of the highlights of Sonshine Week. A week where the church runs lots of local community events.

Reflecting on what has been a brilliant Sonshine Week, Karen continued: “We have been particularly blessed at this year’s event. Hundreds of ladies have attended our coffee morning while the daily kid’s club has been packed with 300 children all eager to find out more about what God has in store for their lives.”

She added: “Our community events have also been blessed. Our youth events brought in teenagers from across Ballymena, who also enjoyed a fantastic road trip. Our volunteers have brought over 12,000 man hours to the streets of our communities and made an impact everywhere they have been! We would like to thank everyone who came along. Thanks also to our own team who made the week possible, whether they testified, made tea, ran the kids’ club or cleaned up. Most importantly, we praise God for everything that He has done and is still doing throughout the week. We give Him all the glory for seeds planted and lives touched and transformed in His name.  We’re looking forward to Sonshine Sunday at Green Pastures where we can all meet together and thank God for such a brilliant week of outreach”, concluded Karen
