Be A Voice Of Hope And Raise The Roof With Local Choirs!

Could you be a Voice Of Hope and Raise The Roof with 2 local choirs based in Ballymena? Are you ready to sing your way into the new year? Why not make a simple resolution – to fill this year with joyful song?  Always loved singing but been too shy to take it outside the shower? Have you ever thought you would like to try something new? Maybe you’re new to the area and wanting to make connections?
Raise the Roof and Voice of Hope choirs would just love you to come and be part of their community; lifting your voices in worship and making new friends along the way. Raise the Roof is for the younger ones and Voice of Hope for adults, so everyone can get involved!

A choir spokesperson said: “We welcome everyone from all parts of the community and with Raise the Roof Kids Choir and Voice of Hope for the adults, there’s an opportunity for the whole family to join in.”

“Raise the Roof is a choir of about 50 young people from age seven right up to teenagers. We started with a vision to raise £75,000 to build a primary school in Uganda by singing from our hearts. Well, we reached our total last November and the bricks are being laid as we speak! We can’t wait to share the story of the blessing we have received so far, and continue following the journey of our school by singing together and inspiring others to reach out and help those in need (whether you’re young or young at heart). With new songs, new members, and the same Doris (our big yellow bus) Raise the Roof choir is revving up for an exciting year and we would love to see you there!”, they smiled

But the kids don’t get to have all the fun!

The choir spokesperson went on to say: “Voice of Hope choir is excited to be back for 2016, with two concerts planned for April. It’s a choir for the whole community, and for the last eight years we have enjoyed making friends and singing together, all the while benefitting charities near and far.”

“So whether you’re experienced, rusty, or have never sung a note in your life, why not come along to our first practice and see what we’re all about?” they suggested.

Voice Of Hope and Raise The Roof rehearsals begin again.
