‘Moments With The Master’ – a new series of devotionals by John and Grace Boyd

Moments With the Master are a series of devotionals written by Ballymena couple, John and Grace Boyd to encourage other Christians in their walk with God.

‘He Brought Me Through’ is a highly personal reflection on God’s goodness to John, Grace and their surviving children, Mark and Catherine in the face of many trials. Their eldest son, Jonathan, who was born in August 1976 had a severe form of Cerebral Palsy which left him unable to walk, talk or speak.

Though his life was brief, Jonathan touched many lives and inspired countless people. His death, aged just 23, had a huge impact on his family but has given his parents the insight, empathy and strength to pen this devotional which focuses on the challenging circumstances endured by Ezekiel and how God used him amid these. ‘He Brought Me Through’ is another devotional which has already brought hope and inspiration to people facing difficult times.

‘Who I really Am’ is an exciting resource for young people, which focuses on finding your identity and who God says you are. Readers are also encouraged not to seek approval from people but to find their worth only in Jesus. Readers will be challenged to follow Him with everything they have and be equipped to make the best decision of their life.

Talking about what he and Grace have written, John said: “Following the changes in my health over the past while, I have been looking for a way to continue serving the Lord within the limitations that I now have. Out of that has grown this series of devotional booklets and gospel resources, all written with the aim of encouraging believers and presenting the message of Christ in a simple, Bible-centred way”

“There is a great deal more in the pipeline, Lord willing, as my health permits. We are hoping to develop resources for children, teenagers, young adults, families, seniors, Bible studies and evangelistic outreach, all remaining faithful to the authority of God’s Word”, he added.
