Next meeting of Gospel Music Club NI at Trinity Methodist Church // Friday 5th June 2026

The next meeting of the Gospel Music Club NI will be held at Trinity Methodist Church and Community Venue in Lisburn on Friday 5th June 2026 from 7pm-10pm. Remember this is a recent change of venue for the Club, now at Ballymacross Road, Lisburn, BT28 2GX.

Looking ahead to what should be a great night, Alan Murphy who runs the event told us: “Join us for a wonderful evening of Gospel music. We are delighted to have brothers Paul and Jonathan Cairns from the Cairns Family Ministry. Paul last visited the GMC in 2023 as a duet partnership with Dustin Black (USA) who has since entered the ministry. He has now teamed up with his brother Jonathan who recorded a superb solo Gospel CD a few years ago.

Johnathan Welsh is an extraordinary bass singer, he has sung in quartets such as Simple Faith and New Dawn, but is also a solo performer having recorded a superb CD “Victory in the Lord” in Nashville a few years ago. Johnathan will also be singing some live songs with the full GMC backing band.

We are also looking forward to hearing Ruth Anderson and Matthew Leyburn who are visiting the GMC for the first time. Ruth comes highly recommended as a solo Gospel singer and as a regular choir member in Dundonald Elim. Matthew has a very relaxed county style. He is also an expert acoustic guitarist and will be amazing us with a number of Gospel instrumentals.

The ever popular SUPERJAM is open to all acoustic musicians for two songs.“

Admission – £3 (optional) at the door. This includes tea and coffee which will be served throughout the night.
Choir practice begins at 6.15pm and new members are always welcome.
