‘The Homecoming’ event at Gospel Music Club NI // Friday 2nd January 2026
The Gospel Music Club NI is holding ‘The Homecoming” event on Friday 2nd January 2026 at Ballynahinch Baptist Church from 7pm-10pm.
Over 50 previous guests are returning for what promise to be a special evening.
Event organiser, Alan Murphy stated: “This is a “Who’s who” of Gospel Music singers and an evening not to be missed. Among those taking part are:
George Edgar – a previous quartet singer now a soloist singing in many churches for over 50 years.
Rebekah McCartney who is in demand at numerous churches and missions as a soloist.
Colin Elliott, a soloist for Live Issue and with his frequent USA tours has sang at the Grand Old Opry.
Ossie Wallace – a Country & Southern Gospel presenter and concert soloist and recording artist.
Kezia Bowman – a concert soloist and front singer at Whitewell Church.
Iris Evans – soloist for many years with numerous Gospel CDs recorded.
Colin Moore- a front singer at the Gospel Music Club and an excellent bass player.
Kate Weir – a young Gospel singer who had recently made her first Gospel CD.
Clive Anderson – A worship leader in Ballynahinch Baptist Church Edna Deacon a concert soloist.
Nigel Davidson a very popular Gospel singer with many CD’s recorded.
Jill Woods – A Gospel Music Club favourite plus soloist James Strange who has been involved in Gospel lMusic recording for years, Voices of praise choir, Quartets and groups.
Exceptional Pianist Ruth Graham will also take part.
A Gospel Music Club favourite soloist Adam Vance from London sings Gospel Elvis as well as the original Sam Purdy A record producer, musician alongist, vocalist Derek McKeag.
An accomplished accordionist and soloist Elizabeth Steele A very accomplished musician and soloist Anthony Price A unique easy listening gipsy singing style.
Paul and Gail – a husband and wife duo.
Helen Black – an accomplished accordionist.
Jim Lonsdale – an in-demand Gospel singer for many years and a regular Gospel Music Club front singer.
Helen Coulter – a soloist for many years and a Gospel Music Club front singer John Walker an exceptional accordion player and soloist.
Brian Matchett – Praise leader and soloist for many years and Gospel Music Club front singer Nicola & Arianna Law Part of Cornerstone Gospel Group Trio.
Graham Murphy – Pianist at Northfield Bible week for over 30 years and a member of many quartets including Crimson River. Graham is the resident Gospel Music Club pianist Ivan McClernon Pedal Steel player with the Live Issue band but playing Dobro at the Homecoming evening
Amy Dunn returns as a welcome soloist to the Gospel Music Club Dixie Heasley has played in numerous groups and is currently playing lead guitar in the Hanna family group.
Sam McIlwrath is well known for his Jazz trumpet and also as a soloist Aaron McKeag is an in demand soloist.
Encounter Grace are a male trio group from the Portadown area Heavenly sunshine trio group closely associated with the Faith Mission.
Vivien & Nell – Vivien is well known for her poems and Nell has sung throughout the UK and has numerous CDs.
David Martin often plays the organ in the Gospel Music Club, he plays numerous special events and missions throughout the year..
Collette & Rachel Denny form a Mother and Daughter du oand are making a welcome return Fergus & Amanda are a husband and wife Duet often with their own accompaniment of Piano or accordion.
Lynda Lindsay – a church organist and lead soloist in choirs and also organises an annual Gospel concert in Enniskillen.
Francis Wethers – A quartet member for many years and also a guest soloist in many churches.
Admission has been set at £3 (Optional) at the door – Includes Tea & Coffee.
