Lylehill Christians celebrate Harvest 2025 with special donation to local Foodbank
Lylehill Presbyterian congregation donate Harvest 2025 foodstuff to local Foodbank.
Harvest is a time to give thanks for God’s goodness to us through his generous provision of the food we eat. Those of us who are blessed with three square meals each day can sometimes forget that even people who live close by struggle to afford the nourishment our bodies need.
That’s where local foodbanks make such an incredible difference and the generous Christians at Lylehill Presbyterian Church have helped by donating the foodstuff from their annual Harvest Service to their local foodbank in Newtownabbey. A considerable amount of tinned and dried groceries will certainly help struggling individuals and families in the area.
As a spokesperson for Lylehill Presbyterian told The Church Page, “We are absolutely delighted as a Congregation to be able to support those in need in our community through Newtownabbey Foodbank and our Harvest donations of food in lieu of fresh produce, flowers etc. Psalm 67 vs 6 says “The land yields its harvest, God, our God, blesses us”.
The members of Lylehill Presbyterian Church would love you to visit them when you can. Their building is located at 90 Lylehill Road, Ballyclare BT39 0HL
