Rev Andrew Frazer – New Minister at Trinity and Grange with Craigmore Presbyterian Churches

Rev Andrew Frazer has been Ordained and Installed as the first minister of the newly created ‘charge’ of Trinity and Grange with Craigmore Presbyterian Churches on Wednesday 10th September 2025.

Originally from Ballynahinch, Andrew, (39) is married to Jenny, an Accountant who works for the Civil Service. The couple have two young children, Joel, (4) and Zoe, (2).

Ever thankful for the opportunity to grow up in a Christian home, Andrew heard the Gospel from a very young age and gave his life to the Lord as an eight-year-old.
After finishing secondary school, Andrew enjoyed doing a degree in IT, (Web Design and Graphic Design) but after a while working in the field, he decided he wanted a job that involved working with people. This led Andrew to take up employment with the Northern Ireland Housing Executive where he remained for around ten years.

Alongside this, Andrew studied for an M.Div. at Union Theological College part time. At that stage, he did not intend to enter full-time ministry. However, as Andrew spoke to more people at college, he became unsettled at the Housing Executive and sensed that God may be calling him into the pulpit.
Andrew’s application to train for the Ministry worked itself out over a two-year period.
On completion of his studies, he undertook an Assistantship at St. Andrews’ Presbyterian Church. This congregation is located on the Cregagh in the Rosetta Road area of Belfast.
There, Andrew was mentored by Rev. Robin Aicken. He says, “I really loved it there and had a great time. I got to be involved in lots of different types of ministry activity. The people there were really warm and encouraging and it was a real joy to minister to and to walk with them”, remembered Andrew.

Having learned so much on what he describes as a ‘great training ground’, Andrew, Jenny and the family are ‘looking forward’ to what God has in store for them at Trinity and Grange with Craigmore.
Andrew adds: “As I was interviewed for the new charge of Trinity and Grange with Craigmore, I have had a real sense that God’s hand has been on the process. I mean that not just in terms of myself and the ministry but also for us as a family in the way the Lord has sorted out practicalities in terms of opening up schools and nurseries for the children.”

Talking about the for this next phase of his ministry, Andrew spoke of his desire to make and grow effective disciples for Jesus:
He went on to say: “We want to do that by pointing people to Jesus as the ultimate hope and their saviour by being in His Word and by sharing his love and compassion with the people around us.”

In his spare time, keen Liverpool fan Andrew enjoys football and rugby. A keen musician, he also plays guitar and drums and well as spending time with Jenny, Joel and Zoe.
