Members of the Gospel Music Club (NI) are looking forward to their next meeting on Friday 4th July 2025. This will take place at Ballynahinch Baptist Church, 24 Lisburn Road, Ballynahinch BT24 8BL from 7pm-10pm.
On stage will be Jim Atkinson, (choruses), Nicola Jess, (solo), Jim Wright, (bagpipe instrumental), Leonard Graham, (soloist), Bobby Carlisle, (mouth organ instrumental), Helen Murphy, (accordion instrumental), Ian Jess, (drum instrumental), Rebekah Berry, (solo), Sound Advice, (male duet), Edna Deacon, (solo), Brian Matchett, (solo), Vivien Forsythe and Nell Hire, (poem and Nell solo or possibly duet with her daughter Lorraine), Alan Murphy, (steel guitar instrumental), Elizabeth Steele (solo), Graham Murphy, (solo/instrumental), Rachel Shields, (solo) Jim Lonsdale, (solo), Joe Brown, (lead guitar instrumental), Ivan McFerran, (steel guitar instrumental), Colin Moore, (solo), Ossie Wallace, (solo) Ivan McLernon, (pedal steel instrumental), Joel McConnell, (solo) as well as the Gospel Music Club Choir and Trio, who are all club regulars.
Alan Murphy, who organises the club each month, is looking forward to the next event.
He said: “Come and enjoy a wonderful evening of Inspirational Gospel Music in a relaxed and informal atmosphere. You will be blessed by our superb Singers and Instrumentalists.
An optional admission charge of £3 is payable at the door. This includes tea and coffee.“
Choir practice begins at 6:15pm and new members will be welcome. Admission: £3 (optional)
