Ballymena Church Members Forum AGM welcomes guest speaker // Tuesday 15th September 2026

Ballymena Church Members Forum are delighted to welcome Dr Nicola Brady, General Secretary of Churches Together in Britain and Ireland, as their guest speaker at the group’s Annual General Meeting.
This will take place on Tuesday 15th September 2026 at 7:30pm. The venue will be the Museum Room at the Old school, Gracehill. The short AGM will be held at 7pm before Dr Brady’s presentation and the refreshments will be available after her presentation and time for discussion.

Nicola will lead discussion on ‘Reconciling Identities in Uncertain Times: A Christian Perspective’. Please make the event known through your relevant networks. The topic and discussion is highly relevant to the role of the Forum and our community at this time.

Dr Nicola Brady is General Secretary of Churches Together in Britain and Ireland (CTBI). Prior to this she was General Secretary of the Irish Council of Churches where her work had a particular focus on peace and reconciliation, on the island of Ireland and internationally. She is a Director of the Maximilian Kolbe Foundation, which works to extend the lessons of German-Polish reconciliation post-World War II to other conflict areas. From 2021-2023 she served as Chair of the Steering Committee of the Synodal Pathway for the Catholic Church in Ireland.
