Gospel Music Club NI at Trinity Methodist Church // Friday 1st May 2026
The next meeting of the Gospel Music Club NI will be held at Trinity Methodist Church and Community Venue in Lisburn on Friday 1st May 2026 from 7pm-10pm.
This is a new venue for the Club and members can find it at Ballymacross Road in Lisburn BT28 2GX.
Looking ahead to what should be a great night, Alan Murphy who runs the event told us:
“The Gospel Music Club is delighted to have the Redemption Singers visit us for the first time. A family group of five who have been singing throughout Northern Ireland for many years. Denver and Lynne are a husband and wife duet who were with us three years ago; Denver plays guitar and harmonica with Lynne on keyboard – a really superb duet sound. James Strange is arguably the best known in Gospel Music in Northern Ireland. James conducted the ‘Voices Of Praise’ choir for many years and has recorded numerous CD’s for many Gospel Singers. Over the years his passion has been singing with male quartets. As a very gifted pianist he will accompany himself on some solo pieces this month. Peter Copes is a superb young Gospel soloist, this is his first time to the Gospel Music Club. Having heard him a few years ago I know the GMC will love him. To round off the evening the GMC choir will also be singing under the direction of Graham Murphy on piano. Another evening of superb Gospel Music not to be missed.”
Admission has been set at £3 (Optional) at the door – includes tea & coffee.
Choir practice begins at 6.15pm and new members are welcome.
