Kilbride Presbyterian ‘Cars and Coffee’ morning supports NI Hospice

Following the success of this year’s ‘Cars and Coffee’ morning held on Saturday 31st May 2025 at Kilbride Presbyterian Church in Doagh, they were delighted to present £1,800 to the NI Hospice.

Representing the Hospice and to receive the funding was Julie Martin, Community Outreach Fundraiser and Uel Campbell and Dave Hoy, members of Kilbride Presbyterian Church.

A spokesperson for Kilbride told The Church Page: “On the day of the event there were around 50 cars and about a dozen motorbikes on show, from the very old to the new. Lots of tea, coffee and buns were also available and enjoyed by those who turned up to support the event.”

The spokesperson went on to say that: “It was a great chance to catch up with old and new friends over a cuppa and the love of cars.”

This year’s event was held in memory of Ted Turkington (a church member and previous Mayor of the borough) who helped organise last year’s event and was a big supporter and recipient of NI Hospice care.
“A big thank you to all who supported us again this year and we look forward to seeing you next year”, said the spokesperson.
