New Horizon 2025 seeks volunteers // Saturday 2nd-Friday 8th August

New Horizon 2025 takes place from Saturday 2nd until Friday 8th August.

Volunteers are being sought to perform various roles throughout the week. Help is particularly needed in the Creche team.

A New Horizon spokesperson explained more about what is involved in this very important task:

“During the week, we have Children’s & Youth programmes available, our creche team which will run Monday 4th – Friday 8th August from 9.30am – 1pm is in desperate need of team members. There is a small cost of £25 to cover t-shirts etc. You can sign up on the ‘Serve at Creche’ page on the New Horizon website.

Requirements: Over 18 years of age, willing to have an access NI check carried out, available for all 5 sessions listed above. If you have experience leading creche, mums & tots or early years Sunday school, we’d love to have you on the team. Are you a nursery teacher/assistant, a primary teacher/assistant or enjoy working with children, why not sign up. Please spread the word!”

They added: “We are also in need of a couple of registered Nurses to help out with our SEN programme, you do not need to be available for the whole week, volunteering for 1 session would be of great help. If you feel you could help with this, please email: office@newhorizon.org.uk”
