Music for Mulyata at Trinity Presbyterian Church, Ahoghill // Fri 19 April 2024

An Evening of Music For Mulyata Children’s Mission will take place at Trinity Presbyterian Church in Ahoghill on Friday 19th April 2024, starting at 8pm. Taking part will be Philip Kerr, Grace in Harmony, Rebekah Millar, Killycoogan Accordian Band and Catherine Marcus.
Mulyata Children’s Mission, a Cullybackey-based charity, is active in the Copperbelt Region of Zambia. Mulyata is a small village located between the towns of Kitwe and Mufilira in the north of the country.

A spokesperson for this vibrant charity told The Church Page:
“The reality is that many of those living within orphanages have one (or both) parents or other close relatives who struggle to afford to feed and clothe their children – and so in love, place their children into orphanages in the hope a better life for them. While many of these institutions do their best to provide a positive environment for the children, there is no doubt that the best outcomes for these children will be if they can grow up with their families in their own community.”

“Our aim is simple … to share the love of the Lord Jesus Christ by providing assistance in the form of food, medicine, clothing and educational support to enable impoverished school children to thrive and achieve their potential, while living at home with those care most for them – their families.”
