Paul Wright – New Chief Executive Officer at Mission Africa

Mission Africa are thrilled to announce the appointment of Paul Wright as the organisation’s new Chief Executive Officer.

Paul is married to Cathy and the couple have three kids, Zoe, Alethea and Ezra. Paul does not support a football team but enjoys the more unusual sports, anything really with a board or wheels!

Explaining what has led him into this new role, Paul told The Church Page:

“How shall they hear without a preacher?” Paul’s words to the Romans were what the Spirit used to challenge me during university about the need of reaching the unreached and stirred the desire to be used by Him for this purpose.

“To cut a long story short, the Lord guided us and allowed us to be part of what He is doing among the nations. My family spent years in cross-cultural church planting in a small village on one of the many islands in the Philippines.”

Paul went on to say: “I am honoured to have the privilege of working with Mission Africa. However, I am also keenly aware of the legacy from Samuel Bill onwards, of those who have served, partnered and prayed for God to save souls and transform lives. This is a humbling responsibility and a reminder to seek God’s enabling, wisdom and guidance for myself and the future of Mission Africa.”
