‘Life After Lockdown’ – Flourish! mental health training day // 11 October 2023
‘Life After Lockdown’ is the topic of a training day that’s being organised by the Flourish! Suicide Prevention initiative for Wednesday 11th October 2023. This will take place between 2pm-5pm at Omagh Enterprise Centre, which is located at 41 Gortrush Industrial Estate, Great Northern Road, Omagh BT78 5LU.
A Flourish! spokesperson told the Church Page: “Lockdown was a difficult time for everyone. However, emerging back into the world afterwards has created different issues with the potential to impact people’s mental health in an equally profound way. For that reason, this session is very important.
“We invite all clergy, youth workers, church lay readers, lay pastoral workers, and staff representatives from churches of all denominations to attend.”
Supported by all of Ireland’s four main Churches, Flourish! is also backed by the Public Health Agency and the Lighthouse – Beacon of Hope.
