Help families with ‘Back to School’ costs // Wellington Presbyterian Church, Ballymena
Can you help with ‘Back to School’ costs? The congregation of Wellington Presbyterian Church, Sourhill Road, Ballymena are keen to help families with the costs of going back to school and they are asking for your help to do so.
A spokesperson for the fellowship told The Church Page:
“Heading back to school in September will bring much excitement and anticipation for families. It can also bring a lot of additional spending. We would love your help! We are planning to put together “back to school stationery packs” that would be distributed to families needing a little extra support and also to local primary schools to give to children who come to school without several essential items.”
You can lend a hand by donating any of the following items:
- Pencils
- Pencil Cases
- Colouring Pencils
- Felt Tip Pens
- Sharpeners
- Rubbers
- Rulers
- Pritt Stick
A box in which to place the items is currently in Wellington Church Foyer and will remain there until Friday 18th August 2023. Any help you can give would be much appreciated!
