‘Wounded Not Wasted – Transformed by God’ at Trinity Presbyterian Church, Ahoghill // Wednesday 25th January 2023

‘Wounded Not Wasted – Transformed By God’ is a new book which features ten Christian life stories, including that of Rev Brian Smyth, Minister of Trinity Presbyterian Church, and his wife, Pamela.

This fascinating Timeless (TTA) publication will be celebrated during a special evening at Trinity Presbyterian Church in Ahoghill on Wednesday 25th January 2023 at 7:45pm.

The book was written by Ballymena journalist, Joe Boyd, who is looking forward to sharing a little about his own journey from ‘mentally retarded’ toddler to married graduate journalist only by the grace of God.
Joe is also delighted that this book has given him the opportunity to help others to reveal how God has transformed their lives for the better through his loving power. This is true of Brian and Pamela’s inspiring journey and of the others contained in the book.

Joe said: “When I think about the people and situations described in ‘Wounded Not Wasted’, I am reminded of Jesus’ words in John 10:10: ‘The thief comes to kill, steal and destroy but I am come that you may have life and life to the full.’ The devil is a wrecking ball who wants to reap destruction in people’s lives but even when Satan seems to be running amok, God can step in and transform any situation for the good of those who love Him and for His Glory.”
