Members of the Ballymena Church Members Forum are planning their annual Village Walk on Monday 27th June 2022 from 7pm.
After a very enjoyable evening twelve months ago in Broughshane, the walk this year will be in Ahoghill.
Chairperson of the Forum, Jennifer McLernon told us: “We invite you and your friends to join us on Monday 27 June 2022 for a guided walk around the village. Meet us at 7pm in The Health Centre carpark, New Road, Ahoghill.”
She went on to say: “Our route will take us through the centre of the village up to St Mary’s Church via an interesting path, across to St Colmanell’s Parish Church, down to the Old Graveyard, and back to The Health Centre and an opportunity to visit the small museum in the building.”
Jennifer explained that light refreshments will be served afterwards and she concluded by saying: “We anticipate a walk lasting about one hour, allowing for commentary along the way, and class it as moderately easy. Please come prepared for variable weather.”
