Teenage members of Raise The Roof Choir will be raising their roof higher than ever before at a concert on Friday 8th April 2022 at 7:30pm. Mid-Antrim Vineyard is the venue and is located at Unit 1C, Woodside Road Industrial Estate, Ballymena BT42 4QJ.
The concert is a fundraiser for the choir’s latest school building project in the central African state of Malawi. Over £29,000 has already been raised, thanks to the determined efforts of these brilliant young people. By grabbing your ticket, you will be helping them to reach the £55,000 required to change lives in Africa.
Looking forward to the night, Alyson Reid told us:
“There will be music to suit everyone at the concert, ranging from modern worship music to the beautiful harmonies and rhythms of Africa.
“I am always so proud of our choir members. They are extraordinary young people who are changing the world for their peers in another part of the world. Education gives young people in Africa a chance to escape from a life of poverty and everything that goes with it.
“This opportunity is made possible by the hard work, talent and enthusiasm of our members. They are leaving a legacy for generations to come.”
There is no set price for concert tickets though it is suggested that adult attendees make a minimum donation of £10. (Children under 12 and OAPs may like to give £5.)
Tickets for the Raise the Roof Higher concert are available from any choir member. Alternatively, you can email: firstname.lastname@example.org
