St Matthew’s rector appointed Lord Mayor’s Chaplain

The Rev Tracey McRoberts, rector of St Matthew’s Parish Church, Belfast, and Mid Belfast Rural Dean, has been appointed as Chaplain to the Lord Mayor of Belfast, Alderman Frank McCoubrey.

Tracey said that it was a ‘privilege’ to be asked to be chaplain for the coming year.

The appointment was marked at Belfast City Hall, when Tracey and Lord Mayor McCoubrey were joined by Northern Ireland’s First Minister Arlene Foster MLA (pictured above).
