Christian Aid Ireland has just launched a daily reflection email for Lent called Footprints. Each day during Lent, participants will receive an email consisting of a prayer and a short reflection, based on one of the Bible readings from the Revised Common Lectionary.

Ruth Cooke, who is Head of Fundraising and Supporter Engagement for Christian Aid in Ireland told The Church Page:

“Due to the success of last year’s pilot, this Lent we will once again launch our daily email reflections called Footprints.

By completing our simple sign up form online, you’ll receive inspiring daily email reflections throughout Lent and Holy Week 2020 written by church leaders, theologians, activists and practitioners from Ireland and around the world.

The first email will arrive on Ash Wednesday (26th February 2020) and continue until Easter Sunday, which is on 12th April 2020

Recipients will be inspired through the daily Scripture readings to act justly, love mercy and walk humbly with God. You will also be encouraged to consider the footprint you leave on the world, both in terms of the legacy we leave behind us and the impact of our lifestyle on people and planet.”
