Happy Christmas from The Church Page

Happy Christmas from all of us at The Church Page and thanks to all the churches, mission halls, missionaries and organisations who have contributed over the last year. Thanks also to our ever-growing audience – all of you who like, share and comment. All your contributions are crucial to us and help us to spread Christian news, services and events to a wider audience. We look forward to catching up with you all again in 2020.

Until then we’ll leave you with the real reason for the season –

….and she gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped him in cloths and placed him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn.
And there were shepherds living out in the fields near by, keeping watch over their flocks at night. An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all people. Today in the town of David a Saviour has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord….”
