Planning for Christmas 2019 at Wellington Presbyterian Church, Ballymena is now in full swing.
Christmas Tree Light Switch On
The festive season begins in earnest at the church on Saturday, 7th December 2019, when the Christmas Tree Light Switch On takes place at 5pm. A varied programme will be on offer, which will include a performance by the Children’s Choir. Light refreshments will be available along with a snack pack for the youngsters.
Christmas Gift Day
A heart-warming Christmas Gift Day is planned for Sunday 8th December 2019 at 11am. This will offer a delightful opportunity for children to bring a gift to the front of the Church, which will later be distributed by the Belfast City Mission. Once again, the Children’s Choir will be performing.
Connections –
a Christmas multi-media special event takes place on Sunday 15th December 2019 at 11am. The Christmas story is a life-changing experience and using drama, singing and visual displays, you can explore one of the greatest stories ever told. No previous Church experience is required!
Carol Service
The annual Carol Service takes place on Sunday 22nd December 2019 at 6:30pm. This traditional gathering will take you down memory lane as you relive the best songs from the festive period. Why not take a break from the fever pitch of Christmas shopping and rediscover the importance of this very special time of the year.
Christmas Morning Service
Finally, there will be a Christmas Morning Service on Wednesday 25th December 2019 at 10:30am. Everyone is invited to this relaxed, fun-filled service. Designed for all-ages, this will give you an opportunity to celebrate the true meaning of Christmas before you indulge in too much turkey and stuffing.
