There will be several special events and services taking place at Hamilton Road Baptist Church in Bangor, Co. Down in the run-up to Christmas 2019. Everyone will be made welcome.
Men’s Curry Night
These will begin on Monday 2nd December 2019 when Lads, Dads and Grandads are invited to tuck into a Christmas Curry from 7pm-9pm.
A spokesperson for Hamilton Road Baptist Church told us: “There will be 2 great courses provided for you along with a short talk on the real meaning of Christmas. There will be a few light-hearted elements to the evening as well.
Tickets are £7.50, and each guest you bring comes at a subsidised cost of £2.50.”
Christmas Nibbles, Craft and Conversation for the ladies
On Tuesday 3rd December 2019, Girls2Grans will be welcoming Christmas with a night just for them. This event will run from 7:30pm-9:30pm.
The Church spokesperson continued: “Take some time out this Christmas and join us for an evening of Christmas nibbles, craft and conversation. The night will be centered around the true meaning of Christmas, and our guest speaker is Heidi Johnston. It’s for women and girls of all ages (primary +) and it’s a free event. We can’t wait to see you there.”

Carol Services
However, no booking is required to attend any of the special carol services at Hamilton Road Baptist Church. These will take place as follows:
~ Sunday 8th December 2019 @ 6pm – Carol Service with Ballyholme Primary School.
~ Friday 13th December 2019 from 6:30pm-7:30pm – Carols with the HRBC Orchestra at Bloomfield Shopping Centre
~ Sunday 15th December 2019 @ 6:30pm – Traditional Carol Service with the Salvation Army Band and Choir
~ Sunday 22nd December 2019 @ 6pm – All-Age Carol Service with children, who may come dressed as a Nativity Character.
~ Wednesday 25th December 2019 from 10:15am-11am – Christmas Morning Celebration – children may bring a small gift for ‘show and tell.’
