CHANGES – some love them, some hate them – September is a month of changes for many of our young people in particular. Starting school for the first time or changing schools, new teachers, new timetables, and so on.
It was going to be all change for Joshua and the Israelites after 40 years wandering in the desert, as they were about to enter the Promised Land. God’s advice and encouragement to Joshua, and to us as Christians today, is found in Joshua 1 v 9 –
Have I not commanded you? Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.
